The Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) is the police department of Los Santos, San Andreas. The LSPD is based on the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Description[]
According to the badges on officers, the LSPD was established in 1889, nearly a hundred years after Los Santos was founded.
The LSPD appears to be well-funded and well-equipped, and use a wide variety of vehicles in their patrols. They can often be seen patrolling around Los Santos.

As part of the Realism Dispatch Enhanced mod, the LSPD has been given a few new vehicles, other than reworks of previous counterparts, as well as new equipment and officer models.

As well as providing new vehicles & equipment, the accuracy of the LSPD has been made more realistic, as the accuracy before earned them the nickname "robocops". Female officers may now appear on the streets and in pursuit.
LSPD SWAT[]
The LSPD has a tactical team, the LSPD Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). They are tasked with responding to high-risk situations, such as shootouts, barricaded suspects and hostage rescue. LSPD SWAT also has the LSPD Air Support unit. The LSPD SWAT is well-trained and equipped.
